Julian, accompanied by his spouse Elise, dines with her three stepsisters: Alex, Charlotte, and Maya. They all share a unique bond despite not being related by blood. Julian seizes the chance to present an experimental project he and Elise have been developing: a mechanism to collectively indulge in and exchange dreams. Although Elise hesitates due to the device being largely untested, the other women express eagerness to explore its capabilities.
