Resisting Arrest

Officer Sonia Kapelli (Abigail Mac) is stationed in her vehicle, observing the depraved world pass by when she receives a report from a dispatcher about ongoing vandalism. She responds to the report and catches sight of the mischievous teenager, Zoe Willis (Kenzie Reeves), applying the finishing strokes to her graffiti artwork. Zoe panics as a police car abruptly accelerates down the alley where she's been working. She abandons her aerosol can, and attempts to outpace the law enforcement. However, as the sirens wail and the engine roars, Zoe doubts her odds. OPENING CREDITS Miraculously, Zoe manages to slip around a corner, successfully evading the pursuing officer. She bolts into a nearby warehouse, relieved to have narrowly escaped. After catching her breath for a few moments, she extracts another aerosol can from her bag, ready to resume her task. 'I wouldn't proceed if I were in your shoes.' Zoe halts in her steps, gradually turning around as Officer Kapelli approaches. Her authoritative presence sparks Zoe's rebellious streak. She attempts to escape but ceases when Officer Kapelli commands her to stop. She cooperates as Officer Kapelli frisks her for potential weapons but grows suspicious as Officer Kapelli seemingly mishandles her. Zoe is aware that the officer is being excessively rough and voices her objections, but her protests are ignored. Zoe's audacity and defiance increase as she confronts Officer Kapelli while being handcuffed with her hands tied behind her back. What crimes is she being accused of? Vandalism and trespassing, while REAL culprits roam free? THESE accusations seem to infuriate Officer Kapelli. What would Zoe know about the harsh realities of the world? Zoe persists. She's successfully agitated the officer and continues to provoke... until she makes one insult too many.
