Inconceivable: A Kenzie Taylor Story

Olivia (Kenzie Taylor) and Jacob (Eric Masterson), a tentative couple, sit apprehensively in an office. Jacob is subtly comforting Olivia, reassuring her that things will be alright. The door swings open and Dr. Cross (Tommy Pistol), a fertility specialist, strides in, holding two identical clipboards with test results. With his back to the couple, he closes the door and gives a sinister grin. TITLE PLATE Dr. Cross takes a seat and expresses his gratitude for their presence. The pair look nervous yet hopeful until he adopts a serious demeanor and delivers the unfortunate news: Jacob is sterile. They are taken aback, with Jacob in particular feeling devastated. Tearfully, they inquire about possible solutions. Dr. Cross, with kindness and firmness, assures them that there are alternatives and he will exhaust every avenue to assist them. Dr. Cross proposes conventional fertility treatments, but Olivia and Jacob can't shoulder the financial burden. As they worry and attempt to console each other, Dr. Cross secretly savors their distress, unnoticed. As Olivia holds on to Jacob, burying her face into him and releasing a muffled sob, Dr. Cross mentions that there is ONE proposition he can put forth. Olivia raises her head, the doctor now commanding their undivided attention. Dr. Cross inhales deeply and calmly states that he can copulate with Olivia to conceive on their behalf. Olivia is taken aback but Jacob is incensed, lunging at Dr. Cross. Kenzie restrains Jacob as he regains his composure and the couple deliberates their options, with Dr. Cross quietly delighting in their turmoil. Their conflict is palpable and they seem on the verge of rejecting the proposition, but Dr. Cross persists with his intimidation tactics. Eventually, the tormented couple acquiesces. The course of action Dr. Cross is about to undertake may have seemed unthinkable to Olivia and Jacob just moments ago, but now they're left with no alternatives...
