SCENE UNFOLDS with Scarlet (Dixie Lynn) working her shift as a barista at a local café. Engaging in conversation with her fellow barista, Charlene, Scarlet reveals her fascination towards a college boy named Gray (Tyler Nixon) who is currently showcasing his talent at the café’s open mic night. As Gray wraps up his performance and starts to pack his gear, Scarlet rushes to him as he steps off the stage, exuberantly praising his extraordinary performance. Gray scans her from head to toe, his grin broadening, signifying his approval of what he sees. Gray magnifies his achievements, boasting about his record and talking about numerous exciting projects in the pipeline, along with collaborations with some notable individuals. Scarlet is completely taken in. Gray queries Scarlet about the end of her shift, and she informs him that it's just about to end. He extends an invitation to his nearby apartment to give her a copy of his album, but she is hesitant. Not wanting to miss the opportunity, Gray tells her that there's a new track on the album which she would absolutely adore. He even offers to sign the album for her! Scarlet consents. Scarlet removes her apron and informs Charlene that she's finished her shift, wishing her a pleasant remainder of the evening. Charlene, still occupied with tidying up, merely smiles and waves to Scarlet, but her smile morphs into a look of concern as she watches Scarlet depart with Gray. CUT TO TITLE Moments later, Gray and Scarlet enter Gray's apartment. It's a shambles, but Scarlet is so awestruck that she disregards the red flags indicating that Gray is, in fact, a slacker. Scarlet is thrilled, stating how excited she is to tell her boyfriend that she received a signed album from an authentic musician. Gray's face momentarily falls but he quickly disguises it, inquiring about Scarlet's boyfriend. She says his name is Hunter. Gray probes further, asking about Hunter's occupation. Gray feigns indifference, as if he believes Hunter sounds rather mundane. This eventually leads to Gray inquiring about Hunter's performance in bed. Scarlet is taken aback by the last question, but after some persuasion from Gray, she timidly confesses that she and Hunter are both virgins as they are waiting for the perfect moment. Upon hearing this, Gray suggests that Hunter sounds somewhat dull. Wouldn’t she prefer someone with more experience? Scarlet is astonished, but hesitant at the thought of betraying Hunter. Gray tells her that she holds a special place for him because she is his MOST adored fan. Scarlet is moved by his words, leading to a passionate kiss between her and Gray. Will Scarlet discover the true nature of Gray?
