Close Enough To The Real Thing

Faith (played by Alex Coal) and Ryan (portrayed by Isiah Maxwell) are a content couple happily discussing their eagerness to conceive a child. They engage in a lighthearted conversation about potential baby names, initially joking around with playful suggestions. However, Ryan surprises Faith with a name book as a thoughtful gift, deeply moving her with his sweet gesture.
Reflecting on her parenting abilities, Faith asks Ryan for reassurance, and he lovingly assures her of her future excellence as a parent. Ryan promises to support her through any challenges they may face ahead. Fast forward several weeks, and tragedy strikes as Ryan passes away, leaving Faith consumed by sorrow.
Amid her grief, Faith receives a text from Chris, Ryan's sibling, which she initially ignores. Discovering the name book, Faith reads a heartfelt message inscribed by Ryan, encouraging and empowering her. Touched by the gesture, Faith reaches out to Chris, proposing a surprising request to him.
When Faith visits Chris, it is revealed that he is Ryan's identical twin. Faith confesses her desire for Chris to father the child that Ryan never had the chance to conceive with her. Seeing Chris as the closest connection to Ryan's genetic legacy, Faith appeals to him to fulfill her late husband's unfulfilled wish.
