Aliya Brynn is apprehensive as she stealthily moves around her home, shutting all the blinds. It's evident that something is unsettling her, with every minor noise causing her to startle, including the arrival and knock of her friend,
Dante Colle. Upon his entrance, he can't help but notice her unease.
As they settle down and get comfortable, it's discovered that Aliya is concerned due to numerous news stories warning the public about a serial killer preying on virgin adolescent girls. As SHE is a virgin, she fears she might be on the killer's radar. Though Dante is merely a friend, he identifies a unique chance to alleviate Aliya's anxiety AND gain a little something for himself.
He subtly proposes that THEY could engage in sexual intimacy, thus removing her virgin status, which ideally would remove her from the killer's list. Aliya is taken aback by the proposition, having never considered Dante in such a context before, but it DOES make sense. Despite her initial hesitations, with Dante's vow to do whatever necessary to ensure her safety, she's on board.
