How To Get Ahead

SCENE OPENS on the exterior of a chic advertising firm. Rachel (Korra Del Rio), an elegant and prosperous lady, swings a designer bag on her arm as she heads towards the entrance. She adores seeing her spouse's initials DD on the signboard and traces the engraving with immense gratification.
With assurance, she steps into the edifice. Inside the foyer, Rachel interacts with the front desk lady, disclosing her intention to surprise her husband with a lunch visit. The receptionist courteously informs Rachel that Dwight is occupied with a conference call and won't be much longer.
Rachel opts to wait in the lobby. Shortly after, a junior account executive, Connor (Pierce Paris), returns from his lunch break and initiates small talk with the receptionist. Spotting Rachel, he scrutinizes her legs, fingers, bust, and lips, his attention captured by her.
He is so engrossed that he hardly acknowledges the receptionist's conversation. It's evident that Connor is smitten by Rachel, despite his effort to maintain composure. Initially, he finds a reason to hang around the reception desk before he musters the courage to approach her with an awkward chat.
Though they had met briefly before, Rachel doesn't recall him but attempts to be cordial. Emboldened and assuming she remembers him, Connor converses with her openly. During their conversation, Rachel brings up the new firm.
Connor looks puzzled and queries her statement. She nonchalantly elaborates on what her husband has been discussing with her for weeks: the subsidiary agency he is establishing with a prior rival. He plans to cherry-pick a team of top-tier creatives to handle it.
Connor listens keenly, his mind racing. He is aware that Dwight's other counterparts detest that competitor and would never concur. It must be a self-serving side project.
Connor grins, concealing his inner turmoil. Mr. Daniels (Dale Savage) abruptly makes his appearance in the lobby and greets his wife.
Connor manages a smirk and observes the content couple departing. Dwight gives his wife's behind a fond squeeze as they exit, and Connor's gaze hardens. His countenance darkens.
CUT TO TITLE Several days later, Rachel lounges by the pool in her bikini, basking in the remnants of the day's sunlight when she hears the doorbell ring. She's not anticipating any company, but she slips on a translucent robe and walks indoors. The front door swings open to uncover Connor standing there, holding a small black canvas bag.
Rachel expresses surprise but Connor reassures her that he's only there to deliver something for Mr. Daniels. Rachel feels uneasy but doesn't wish to appear impolite, so she admits him inside and summons her husband.
Dwight enters the room and spots Connor. Dwight is livid, questioning Connor's presence in his home. Connor inhales deeply and clears his throat, gently patting the bag.
'I'm here,' he articulates slowly. 'To sleep with your wife. ' Dwight lunges at Connor, who swiftly retreats and opens the bag, revealing Dwight's laptop.
Connor confesses that he infiltrated Dwight's computer and now possesses proof of numerous transgressions that Dwight has committed. Rachel intervenes and demands to know if any of it is true? Dwight starts to show signs of being unnerved, though he attempts to mask it with his macho demeanor. Connor proceeds to outline his findings to the shocked wife.
Rachel is in disbelief, as Dwight intensifies his defensive attitude, justifying himself further while provoking Connor. However, the more he rants, the more Rachel realizes the truth of her husband's deeds. She feels deceived, then enraged.
She reprimands Dwight, warning him that his words are exacerbating things. If he continues, they stand to lose EVERYTHING due to Dwight's recklessness. She instructs Dwight to sit down and keep quiet.
If he wishes to see her again, he will have to stay put and accept the repercussions of his actions. Rachel's going to give Connor what he desires. and her husband's going to witness every moment of it.
