Family Planning
SCENE BEGINS with Steve (Seth Gamble) arriving home as his spouse, Pamela (Nicole Aria), summons him to the bedroom. She discloses, with much heavy emotion, that she's terrified of having a child of their own due to the recent tragic passing of a friend's infant. This revelation takes Steve by surprise, as he had been thrilled at the thought of starting a family.
Despite his best efforts, Pamela remains adamant in her decision. Feeling disoriented, he departs the house to get some fresh air and clear his mind. He takes a drive around the block, attempting to calm his nerves but eventually comes to a halt.
Pulling out his mobile device, he dials Pamela's sister, Naomi (Alex Coal), and inquires if he can pay her a visit. She consents. CUT TO TITLE Shortly after, Steve arrives at Naomi's residence and presses her doorbell.
Upon hearing his distressed state, she welcomes him inside for a discussion. Once settled, Steve recounts the incident between him and Pamela. He breaks down in tears, voicing his longing to start a family with Pamela and how abrupt this situation has been.
Naomi is understanding, surprisingly admitting that she too yearns for a family but hasn't been able to due to her work commitments and lack of romantic relationships. Steve hears this and an EXTREMELY unconventional idea crosses his mind. He proposes to have intercourse with Naomi and impregnate her so they can secretly raise the baby together.
Naomi initially rejects the proposition, but is swayed when Steve insists that Pamela would NEVER have to know, concocting a plan so audacious and enticing, that Naomi finally succumbs. She allows Steve to have sex with her, setting a plan into action that might give them exactly what they've always desired, but at the cost of constant concealment.
