Lindsay (
Eliza Eves) presses the doorbell of a residence, where she is met by Sal Baxter (
Colby Jansen), Lindsay's adjoining neighbor. They have not previously encountered each other and Sal, while appearing quite ordinary, is somewhat of a hermit. However, this doesn't unsettle Lindsay as she gleefully announces that she's there to collect pledges for an imminent charity function.
At this point, Ed Hoskins (
Joel Someone), another resident of the house, comes to the door and introduces himself to Lindsay. He is far more personable and charming as he invites Lindsay inside to discuss her charity. Lindsay consents and happily steps into the house, although when her back is turned, there are subtle signs that Sal and Ed may be concealing a sinister secret.
Ed and Sal guide Lindsay deeper into the dwelling towards a dimly lit room.
Increasingly, there are hints that Sal and Ed's intentions towards Lindsay are far from wholesome. While Lindsay feels a touch of apprehension, she's also captivated by the shift in atmosphere. The ambience is undeniably charged with a palpable tension.
As Lindsay attempts to maintain focus and discuss her charity, Ed and Sal position themselves on either side of her, maintaining a close proximity. As they converse, she queries if the men are spouses, to which they cryptically reply that they are merely two men with shared interests. And currently, they are both engrossed in HER. While Lindsay is initially taken aback and uncertain, there's an allure to having the undivided attention of not one but TWO mature men that stirs something deep within her.
