Stooping To Her Level

Heidi (Spencer Bradley) is paying a visit to her mother, Janice. As they converse, Janice confesses with worry that she's concerned about Heidi's stepsister, Tara (Indica Monroe). Tara has always been somewhat troublesome, and now she intends to live independently, a concept which Janice doesn't believe Tara is prepared for. Since Heidi has consistently been so well-behaved, Janice requests that Heidi allow Tara to stay with her for a while with the hope that Tara will learn from her. Heidi, ever the agreeable personality, consents to Tara living with her. Perhaps they'll enjoy themselves, like in the past! However, weeks later, it's evident that Heidi is not enjoying herself and that there's tension between the stepsisters. Despite Heidi's best attempts, Tara is defiant and rebellious, demonstrating a complete disregard for others. When Tara stays out until the early hours engaging in who-knows-what activities, the time has come for a serious discussion. As Heidi attempts to rationalize with Tara, Tara retaliates. Tara suggests that Heidi must be tired of always having to be so responsible. This comment appears to hit a nerve with Heidi, and Tara quickly accuses Heidi of being envious of her carefree lifestyle. Heidi insists that she only wants to guide Tara on the right path, to prevent her from making poor choices and engaging in promiscuous behaviour. But even as she states this, her words seem lacking in conviction. Seeing a golden opportunity, Tara exploits Heidi's desire for some excitement and puts forth a proposition: if Heidi doesn't want her to be out at all hours and sleeping with strangers, Heidi should sleep with HER instead. Will Heidi succumb to the temptation to both safeguard her stepsister and finally liberate herself from her good girl constraints?
