Holly (
Laney Grey) is startled when her elder sister Andrea returns prematurely from her serving job. Upon Holly's persistent questioning, it is revealed that Andrea has been dismissed due to her reckless actions. Regrettably, Andrea returning home without a job is not an unfamiliar situation.
In fact, this is the third job she's failed to keep this year!
Their lease payment is approaching, and Holly is irritated and disheartened that Andrea isn't making an effort to either reclaim her job or secure a new one. Andrea appears neither ready nor capable to contribute her fair share, and Holly feels cornered. After a heated argument, Holly storms out, vowing that she will deal with Andrea's chaos.
Not long after, Holly contacts Mr. Lewis (
Seth Gamble), the proprietor of the eatery from which Andrea was recently sacked. She implores him to reconsider and reinstate Andrea, explaining their orphan status and the desperate need for employment.
Despite his empathy, Mr. Lewis admits that Andrea has exhausted her opportunities. She's a risk.
though he remarks that HOLLY seems more composed -- and attractive as well.
That's when Holly proposes to assume Andrea's position herself. Even though she lacks experience as a server, she's a diligent worker, so Mr. Lewis won't be let down.
But Holly spots hesitation in Mr. Lewis, so she makes a daring, desperate proposition. Since he already acknowledged her beauty, perhaps there's an alternative way Holly can persuade him to employ her.
