Matters Into Her Own Hands

Sarah (Ella Reese) is in a heated debate on the phone with her husband, Donnie (Quinton James), who is presently out of town. It comes to light that Sarah unwittingly committed insider trading due to a friend's advice, and now a government official is scheduled to visit their home that same day to scrutinize their finances. Donnie is utterly appalled by his wife's reckless behavior, which has landed them both in a precarious situation.
Sarah attempts to soothe Donnie's nerves and assures him that she will extricate them from this predicament by enticing the investigator. Donnie considers this a disastrous plan and assures her that he will take care of the situation once he returns. However, when Donnie commands her to refrain from any action, Sarah decides she's had enough of his dominance and abruptly ends the call.
Several hours later, the investigator, John (Robby Echo), is perusing through various files in their living room. From a distance, Sarah observes him and then begins to flirt subtly, to which John responds positively. As their banter grows more flirtatious, it becomes apparent that John is open to bargaining to help Sarah out of this dilemma.
Things reach a feverish intensity between them as Sarah decides to take control.
But that's when Donnie, having hurried back home, enters the room and stumbles upon their intimate encounter. Donnie confronts Sarah, enraged that she ignored his explicit instructions. On the other hand, Sarah is irate that Donnie always tries to control her and underestimates her capabilities.
Meanwhile, John is considerably entertained by their bickering, remarking that he finds cases involving couples amusing due to the lengths they often go to. He then begins to tease Donnie, wondering how far HE would go, leading to a full-blown threesome.
