Violet (Hazel Moore) is taken aback when her covert lover, Amelia (
Maya Woulfe), shows up unannounced. Amelia discloses that her parents discovered her homosexuality and disowned her. The young women want to keep Violet's orientation a secret from her parents, so they plan to seclude themselves in Violet's room.
However, en route to their hideout, they encounter Violet's elder sibling, Florence (
Gizelle Blanco). Violet fibs, claiming that Amelia is a school friend who dropped by for a study session. When Violet and Amelia finally get some privacy in Violet's room, they deliberate over their next move.
Violet concludes that Amelia can take refuge in her room for the time being, even arranging bedding for Amelia in the closet to keep her presence hidden from her family. Unbeknownst to them, Florence is eavesdropping on their conversation through a small gap in the door. In the subsequent days, Florence continues to spy on Violet's room, her eyes drawn towards Amelia, even ogling her as she dresses following a shower.
One day, while Violet is out, Florence slips into her room and confronts Amelia in the closet. Florence admits to knowing about Amelia's presence, and confesses her desire for Amelia. Amelia is stunned to discover that Florence too is secretly a lesbian, but rejects Florence's advances, unwilling to betray Violet.
However, Florence turns spiteful and insinuates that she might spill Amelia's secret, which would also expose Violet to their parents. In desperation, Amelia consents to Florence's demands, provided that Violet remains oblivious to their arrangement, knowing it would shatter her.
