SCENE BEGINS with Mr. Kincaid (
Derrick Pierce), a rough-looking entrepreneur, in his office with his stunning assistant, Valerie (
Brett Rossi), briefing him about the day's agenda. Halfway through her report, she stoops to retrieve a pen from the floor, returning it to her employer's desk before resuming.
Unseen by her, Kincaid slyly tosses the pen back onto the floor. As she circles back, she spots the pen on the floor again, irritates her, taking a soothing breath while clutching her notepad tightly. She bends over, the camera offering a male perspective of her attractive rear, then scolds her employer about dropping the pen AGAIN.
He dismisses it and she retorts, stating she's fed up with his pompous behavior! Plus, his blatant rudeness and belittling attitude are intolerable. It's harassment and she won't tolerate it anymore. She's so agitated that she's beginning to perspire, so she takes a moment to regain her composure.
Mr. Kincaid, who has been observing without any hint of shame, responds by requesting a cup of coffee, reminding Valerie that it won't make itself. Dejected, Valerie crosses the office to prepare the coffee, her body rigid and her hands clenched.
She glances back at her boss, her face showing clear signs of anxiety. CUT TO TITLE PLATE
Later, in his office, Kincaid is concluding a business call while Valerie brings him another cup of coffee. Once he's finished, he asks her to inform him of his next appointment.
As she dutifully begins to relay his schedule, he takes a sip of the coffee she just served him and promptly spits it out. 'This is awful!' he chastises her as she watches his juvenile behavior helplessly. His immaturity quickly escalates into harassment when he asks her how long she's been employed there -- ten years? -- a generous tenure for an assistant.
He's going to explain to her how things are done, taking his time to ensure she understands. Valerie is disheartened, quietly asserting that he can't treat her this way. 'Darling,' he retorts smugly, 'I can do whatever I please because I'M the boss.
' She's just a naive blonde, nothing more. He begins to caress her cheek, and she immediately confronts him about the sexual harassment, though he instantly denies it calmly. Even if it was, who would believe her, given that she's just an assistant? Her word means nothing against his.
He emphasizes that he's the one who signs the paychecks, so she's powerless. 'In fact. ' Kincaid begins, intentionally spilling his cup of coffee on Valerie's chest. Valerie attempts to clean the coffee stain from her white blouse, distressed that he did it deliberately while he arrogantly insists that it was an accident and that he's just so clumsy.
He suggests she removes the shirt and cleans up the mess to avoid staining. Valerie suggests going home to change, but he halts her by saying, 'OR you could stay and please your boss. ' If she complies with his desires, he'll promote her to a position she truly desires.
The decision is hers. The camera zooms in on Valerie's face as she wipes away her tears, clearly struggling with the decision. The conflict is evident on her face, her lips pursed, although a slight smile slowly appears.
She makes the decision and discards her shirt, throwing it to the ground. 'You know what? You're absolutely right. I'm so stupid! I should be making YOU happy.
' she asserts.
The sudden change in her attitude leaves Kincaid stunned as she caresses his shoulder, lavishing him with attention, her breasts fully exposed. She flatters him in every possible way, which Kincaid thoroughly enjoys. Valerie's days of enduring her boss's tyranny are over as she takes control and shows him her true potential.
