A gentleman named Micah (played by
Seth Gamble) receives a visit from his step-sibling, Abby (portrayed by
Tommy King), who is visibly distressed. She tightly embraces him before they move inside to talk. Once settled, Abby discloses her fear that her betrothed is planning to abandon her, a revelation that stuns Micah.
Micah assures her that he is ready to assist in any possible way, though he also reminds her that not all relationships, like their parents', are meant to last. Abby dismisses this notion, arguing that this is exactly why she needs his help. She then unveils her scheme, which includes her belief that if she were carrying a child, her fiancé would not leave her.
Since she isn't expecting, she requests Micah to father a child with her, so she can deceive her fiancé into believing it's his. Micah is both shocked and appalled by the dishonest nature of Abby's plan. However, driven by desperation to save her relationship, Abby starts to manipulate him, attempting to sway him by exploiting his emotions.
Despite her efforts, Micah remains unfazed. until Abby mentions his inherent protective tendencies. This seems to resonate with Micah, and Abby seizes the opportunity, pleading for his assistance. Eventually, Micah's resistance weakens, and Abby is on the verge of getting exactly what she desires.
