A wedded pair, Sherry (
Arabelle Raphael) and Ray (Ken Feels), have been facing challenges ever since their godson, Ethan (
Victor Ray), came to live with them following the sudden passing of his parents. Ray is wary of Ethan's distant and peculiar conduct, like his constant gazes at them or sneaky movements, but Sherry always brushes off Ray's suspicions. Ray's doubts grow when they discover their smashed pictures, including their wedding images, upon returning home one day.
However, when they confront Ethan about it, he nonchalantly dismisses it, blaming the destruction on the family pet. Ray remains skeptical, but Sherry once again supports Ethan, opting to trust the godson over her own spouse. The situation intensifies days later when the family pet is mysteriously killed while under Ethan's care.
Ray is certain that Ethan purposely caused the pet's demise, and Sherry is exasperated by Ray's conspiracy theories, leading to a rift between the couple. Eventually, Sherry finds a letter from Ray announcing his departure. Heartbroken, she turns to Ethan for comfort, only for him to make advances on her under the pretense of offering solace.
Was Ray correct in suspecting that Ethan had been plotting since the beginning?.
