The Customer's Always Right

SCENE UNFOLDS with property broker Maureen (Osa Lovely) guiding a wealthy prospective purchaser named John (Tommy Pistol) through a residence she is selling. She escorts him into the lounge, discussing the various characteristics of the home, such as the ornate cornices, natural illumination, and the freshly-installed tiles. John's eyes sparkle.
He appears to be captivated by every aspect of the residence. CUT TO TITLE John articulates his interest in an acoustically isolated room, as it would provide a space for his son to play the drums. Maureen informs him of a room she can demonstrate that might meet his requirements.
Maureen presents the room but is astounded when she finds herself alone in the room with the door seemingly locked from the outside. In a state of panic, she yells and bangs on the door, but there is no response. John eventually unlocks the door, clarifying that he must have inadvertently locked it and was unable to hear her cries.
Maureen's suspicion grows and she attempts to conclude the property viewing, but John threatens to abandon the purchase unless Maureen complies with his demands. In her desperation to close the deal, she consents. After all, the client is always correct.
