Kristi (Anna Claire Clouds) and Ben (Seth Gamble) have been relentlessly attempting to get pregnant, but their efforts seem to be in vain. As Kristi once again awaits the outcome of her most recent pregnancy test from the confines of the bathroom, a glint of optimism twinkles in her eyes. However, when the dreaded single line materializes on the test stick, she is overwhelmed with disappointment and guilt.
Ben comforts her, reassuring her that it's alright - they'll persist and eventually everything will fall into place. Kristi forces a smile and nods, but inwardly, she's falling apart.
