Richard, played by
Steve Holmes, is eagerly anticipating the arrival of his stepdaughter, Natalie, portrayed by
Vanna Bardot. Natalie is moving in with him for the summer, but they haven't seen each other much since the wedding. With his wife away, Richard will have to make Natalie feel comfortable all on his own, a situation that makes him feel a bit uneasy.
Upon Natalie's arrival, despite Richard's efforts to be friendly, she remains distant and unresponsive. Richard tries to be kind, but Natalie proves to be quite a challenge. Even when he offers to help with her luggage, she assumes he's just being patronizing.
Despite the rough beginning, Richard continues to strive to be a caring parental figure. However, no matter his intentions, he repeatedly ends up in awkward and suggestive circumstances. It's as if Natalie is intentionally provoking him with sexual undertones.
Eventually, when Richard discovers Natalie's bra hanging on his door, he realizes her actions are deliberate. Confronting her, he learns that she is not yet finished toying with him.
